We know chickens have far better hapiness with 7–8 hours of darkness to sleep.
But they eat more when they are sleep restricted.

Great argument. Again, I would love it if the reality of the matter were as you say it is. Unfortunately that is not the case, and anyone wanting to adhere to a vegan diet would be wise to do some research and plan accordingly.
Also, the more someone chooses to support animal welfare /chooses not to support the industrialized torture and exploitation of animals, the better. Everything counts.
