As a kid it was probably my least favorite scene because it slowed things down. As an adult it may be my favorite. A quiet moment among the chaos to contemplate and see things from Cameron’s perspective, which is a very skeptic perspective. Is the painting real or not? Is his parent’s love real or not? What is real?

The song is also great. Didn’t know until a year or so ago that it was a Smith’s cover by a group named Dream Academy that did instrumental covers of pop songs.
