    I mean, yeah, but :(

    The secret to staying cool in an era of ever escalating climate change, is to dig a hole, 3 ft wide, 7 feet long and 6 feet deep. The earth at those levels is much cooler, so the secret is to lie flat at the bottom of this and pull the displaced soil back over you, completely filling the hole.

    You will be cool for the rest of your life.

      I have wondered if I could do this and then fill the hole with hose pipes and pump water through it. The water can then go through a heat exchanger next to me and blow cool air at me. So basically a PC watercooling radiator, pipes and a pump.

            Yeah, just not sure how deep you really need to go. I don’t really want to pay someone to do it but I have a spade I can dig with. Could get equipment if it doesn’t cost much but from what I can tell its generally quite expensive.

              I do feel like the speed of the heat exchange might be a bit slower, even if the gradient is higher… though maybe a higher gradient faciliates the speed too
